Sonograms

Here are some of the first pictures ever taken of you.

Dad and I went together to the first ultrasound on September 11, 2009. That day we saw you for the first time and found out that you were a girl. Dad guessed all along that you would be a girl, and he ended up being right! I remember being so happy to be able to see you on the screen and to know that you were ok. On this day your thigh was about 1 inch long.

Over the next several months the doctor checked up on you several more times with sonograms.

You were awake for the pictures taken on November 19, 2009. I had eaten breakfast right before the appointment, and when I saw you on the screen you were opening and closing your mouth tasting the yogurt I had eaten.

We did another sonogram on December 16, 2009. You look like you're smiling and happy in this one:


On January 28, 2010 we did another sonogram to weigh you and take some measurements. They guessed you weigh about 7 lbs. 10 oz. From the pictures you can definitely tell you're running out of room in there.
