Cracking Up

Yesterday I sprayed you with a spray bottle and you thought it was SO FUNNY. You were cracking up and laughing for a really long time.

It was absolutely adorable. You laugh quite a bit, but this was the longest I've ever seen you laugh (it went much longer than this video length).

A couple times I got you right in the face. Not so funny, mom. Not so funny.

Falling Over

You still aren't very good at sitting up by yourself, but you are getting better at it. Today you were sitting up all alone for a minute. I got so excited and started taking pictures!

But then you saw me. You looked up and smiled, then started to tip....
Fell a little further (while still smiling)....

And then hit the floor. I didn't get the final picture of you on the floor because you were pretty sad and I wanted to cheer you up instead.

Friends

We have a lot of great friends out here. We're so lucky because we have friends with babies just about your age. Yesterday several of our friends came over to play (Christen and Henry, Eve and Alex, Michelle and Gabbi, and Tristen and Harrison). I forgot to take pictures! But you were all so cute playing together.

Today Henry came over and played with us with Christen went to the dentist. You two were happy to sit and play with toys.

Looking Out the Window

You love to sit in the Bumbo and look out the window. It's an extra bonus if I put you close enough to play with the blinds.

Figuring out Moving

You want to move so badly! You wiggle, kick, and push trying to get places, and you get so mad when you can't get where you want to go.

You're pretty good at moving around. You can scoot backwards really well. In this picture, you started out laying by the gold strip that leads into the kitchen. You flipped over and scooted underneath the chair.

You can also spin around on your belly. In this picture, you started on the pink blanket (with little green frogs) with your head pointing in the opposite direction.

I try to get before and after pictures, but you're just too quick!

Just recently you've started pushing harder to get yourself going. This results in a push-up, plank position. In this picture you're up on your toes and hands, just trying to move forward.

It's still not working! But don't worry, baby, you'll get there soon.

You've also realized that you can work hard and wiggle your way out of places. Specifically, you keep trying to wiggle your way out of your bouncer.

When you're sitting in your bouncer in most of the house you try to wiggle your way out. However, when you're in the bathroom sitting in your bouncer will I shower you're perfectly content to look at the lights and play with the shower curtain or towels.

Daddy's Little Girl

Daddy's Bad Day

The other day, daddy had a bad day at work. So you and I went to the store and got him a treat to cheer him up. To show him what he had waiting for him at home, we sent him this picture:
